We are seeking proposals from qualified web development/design agencies to design, develop, and deploy a full-featured educational courses website. This platform will host subscription-based and on-demand digital courses with a comprehensive student portal and content management capabilities.

2. Project Overview

The website will serve as a platform for:
– Delivering and managing educational content (video, text, PDFs, quizzes).
– Enabling users to subscribe for access or purchase individual courses.

– Platform will be used for Market and Project reports as well
– Providing a personalized student / user dashboard to track progress.
– Managing admin operations like content upload, analytics, and user management.

3. Project Goals

– Launch a secure, scalable, and user-friendly online learning platform.
– Offer seamless user experience across devices (responsive design).
– Provide both one-time course purchases and recurring subscriptions.
– Enable rich course content delivery and tracking.

4. Scope of Work

The agency will be responsible for:
A. Consultation & Planning
– Advising on the best platform (custom build vs CMS vs LMS tools).
– Helping finalize the tech stack and hosting approach.

B. Website Design
– Custom UI/UX design aligned with our brand.
– Wireframes, prototypes, and final approved layouts.

C. Core Development Features
– User Management: Registration, login, password reset, profiles.
– Course Management: Add/edit courses, categories, chapters/modules.
– Content Delivery: Video, text, PDFs, quizzes, assignments.
– Access Management: Subscription-based (monthly/yearly), One-time purchases.

– Evaluation and Certificates
– Student / User Dashboard: Track progress, resume last activity, view certificates
– Admin Panel: Manage courses, users, sales analytics, content organization.
– Payment Integration: Stripe / Razorpay / PayPal etc with coupons and trials.
– Notifications: Email confirmations, reminders, progress updates.
– Reports: Course engagement, subscription status, sales reports.

– Emailers: We should be able have all our users and their communication category and preference document and we need in-built emailers to all our users who are registered based on preference.

D. Hosting & Deployment
– Setup of production environment (Cloud, VPS, or managed).
– SSL, security configurations, DNS setup and domain pointing.

E. Maintenance & Support
– Post-launch bug fixes.
– Optional: monthly support/updates plan.

5. Technical Expectations

– Mobile responsive design.
– SEO-friendly URLs and metadata handling.
– Fast page load and optimized media delivery.
– GDPR/data privacy compliance.
– Clean, scalable code structure.

– Complete control on content in-terms of access and fool proof for mis-use on access

6. Deliverables

– Finalized UI/UX mockups.
– Fully functional live website.
– Admin panel access.
– Technical documentation and walkthrough.
– Handover of source code (if custom built).
– Training for internal team (if applicable).

7. Proposal Requirements

1. We are planning to start slow and steady with just 5 Courses & 5 Industry reports
2. We want a cost-effective approach which can get the job done in faster time rather than a very perfect solution which takes months.
3. Clearly call out what is required from us!
4. Cost should include all (your services plus all the costs like license, hosting, etc. as per the tech stack suggested) with no hidden costs
5. Make the proposal as detailed as possible.
